Not to do
- - Frustrating timeshare presentation; promised two free weeks.
- - Cruise/hotel package misled us; vouchers not delivered; only aquarium tickets received.
If you're going here for a timeshare presentation, heed my words. My experience with this timeshare has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing!
We were promised two free weeks, bonus points, and the ability to use the vacation package on any cruise through RCI for $299 and on any hotel for the same rate, but we have only received the aquarium tickets. We found out the hard way that we can only use this on Club Wyndham or partner resorts, and the cruise and hotel information given to us was completely misleading. The sales rep, Hayley Burke, who promised to guide us and help resolve the situation, has not helped with the missing vouchers and we have yet to receive them since being told they were sent on December 11, 2024.
We were lied to just to get us to sign up, especially since we were pressured into signing the contract. We are now stuck paying for a product that we cannot use as promised, which feels like a breach of contract and financially impacts our family.
- There are no pros
- Lie to get customers

- - Aggressive, manipulative sales tactics by Wyndham.
- - False promises to stop rising fees and threats of legal action.
Avoid all the trouble don't get involved with WYNDHAM they are trained to deceive you
What Happened
I am writing this to expose the predatory and high-pressure sales tactics used by this Club
Wyndham.. I recently attended a meeting where I explicitly stated I had no interest in buying
more points.
I was concerned about the high maintenance fees that continue to skyrocket every
single year.
Instead of respecting my decision, the sales representative was incredibly aggressive and
manipulative. They lied to me, claiming that if I "upgraded" to the next level, my maintenance
fees would finally stop increasing. Even worse, the representative used fear and intimidation to
close the deal. I was told that if I didn't move to the next level, my payments would continue to
rise and that my children would be legally responsible for this debt even after I pass away.
They
even went as far as to threaten that their lawyer would come after the money from either me or
my kids "either way.
"
This was not a professional sales presentation; it was a coercive environment built on lies and
legal threats. They preyed on my concern for my family's future financial security just to force a
sale.
It is clear this company does not care about the well-being of its clients, only about locking
them into escalating contracts through intimidation.
This hasn't just been a financial loss; it has been an incredibly frustrating waste of time. It is
clear that Club Wyndham prioritizes making a quick sale over long-term customer satisfaction or
basic accountability.
Recommendation for Future Customers
If you are considering doing business with Club Wyndham, I strongly urge you to think twice.
Based on my experience and the patterns Ive seen from other victims they will only get you into
a lifetime contract, with no way out, and fees will continue to increase & they will try to target

Verified Reviewer |Scammed into Timeshare contract
- - Attended a 'vacation club' presentation that became a timeshare; staff lied.
- - Told it was a vacation club, but contract shows timeshare terms.
Stay away from club Wyndham travel leisure!! Bad people scam artist!!
Despite seeing 'timeshare' on the contract and asking about it, the staff, including Keisha and Marshall (if you end up in a room with them, leave ASAP), repeatedly lied, assuring us it was a vacation club. After trying to cancel the first contract, they convinced us to resign for a second one at a lower rate. The system is nearly impossible to use. It doesn't work for our retirement fixed income lifestyle.
The points are not available as promised. Do not be fooled by this scam.
They are incredible at deception and will leave you high and dry while hiding behind legal jargon they won't even abide by themselves. Roger and Deborah

- - Credit check was promised in the 2-hour presentation.
- - They were not told card would be opened in his name.
- - A card arrived in his name.
Nobody will contact me back from the company
My husband and I were told a credit check would be done when we did the 2-hour presentation. We were not told they were applying for a credit card in his name.
Sure enough, when we got home, there was a credit card in the mail.
Is this legal? We do not, and have never wanted a Wyndham credit card.
User's recommendation: Don't fall for their scam!!
Bathroom is dangerous stove is rusted
- - Fourth-floor handicap room; dangerous shower; child fell multiple times.
- - Cramped room, no counter space; rust on stove; outdated TVs; paid internet.
Handicap accessible is on the fourth wall in the handicap shower my three-year-old fell three times bumped her head twice my 10-year-old whos epileptic she held onto the handle because if she falls, it can cause further brain damage my-year-old sat on the floor shower and the three adults were very careful so we did not slip in that dangerous shower the stove is rust The room is crammed, especially especially for a handicap room, no counter space. I dont know how they would expect you to be able to actually enjoy yourself in that room.
The TVs are outdated and expect you to pay for high-speed Internet when I should be complementary with your stay. They used to have complementary coffee at the meadows they no longer offer that as they want you to do Starbucks at their activity center in the management, Donna sucked when I brought her to this attention she was very condescending, reached out to the high reps no response yet my neighbor was also handicap in a wheelchair with one leg, expressed his concern on being on the fourth floor and had electrical tape around his showerhead in his bathroom and it was hard for him to bathe in there too, and unfortunately, he had a whole week to be there
User's recommendation: Don’t buy into the timeshare as they really don’t upgrade in the charge and maintenance fee that they don’t mention and nickel and dime when it should already be free the high-speed Internet
Complaint
- - Fourth-floor handicap room had outdated TVs and rusted stove pans.
- - Internet charged; shower dangerous; kids fell; spider in bathroom.
Never reached out condescending management, lack of customer service or even reaching out to make sure what they can do different
Fourth floor handicap accessible type room, outdated TVs rusted stove pans were grease stains on them of charging for high-speed Internet, Donna. The manager wouldnt brought up complaints was very condescending shower is dangerous.
My three-year-old fell three times bumped her head twice twice my 10-year-old whos epileptic if she falls can cause further brain damage how to help hold onto The railing in there so she wouldnt fall. My eight-year-old sat on the floor so he wouldnt fall and the three adults were very careful so we wouldnt fall in that dangerous slippery room.
The bathroom had a spider in it. you charge maintenance fee, but yet everythings outdated in the stove has rust on it not worth the money not worth the timeshare let alone the second management that does not hear you out that just wants to be combative.
User's recommendation: Don’t buy into the timeshares they charge maintenance fees clearly there’s no maintenance going on and the rooms are gloomy and crammed and dingy and I’ll nickel behind you.

- - Affiliate resorts are rarely available; 99% of dates show no availability.
- - Same dates are available on Wyndham/Expedia/Agoda.
- - Only 20–25 properties are bookable.
We signed up for Club Wyndham Asia as we were told that we would have access to affiliate resorts, but when I go to book the affiliate resorts, 99% of the time, any dates on their properties are not available. For the same dates, the resorts are available on the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts website or Expedia/Agoda.
They seem to have a very small quota for club members to access the affiliate properties. So, in the end, you are stuck with some 20-25 properties that you can book from Club Wyndham Asia's main website. This is purely false advertising.
Do not buy Club Wyndham Asia's membership. There is no value in it if the bookings are limited to only handful of properties.

Verified Reviewer |Unhappy customer
- - Lost trust after 2023 upgrade due to a missed email.
- - Contract not sent after two months; sales misled and account status unclear.
Current "owner" here - I've lost all trust in this company. We upgraded in 2023, only to learn that we "missed" an email and no longer qualify for what we wanted.
I feel like sending a single email does NOT suffice in this situation.
In 2024, we upgraded again so that we now have access to the offerings from 2023.. we're still waiting on a contract to be sent (it's been 2 months), Wyndham has our primary account holding status all messed up and continue to give us the run-around on who we need to contact, we were misled during this whole sales presentation process and are now on the hook for a lot of money. Oh..
let's not forget how they don't update your online account so you can't cancel within 7 days.. (add in the fact you don't see a contract they said they'd send you).
Pretty scummy stuff, in my experience, and I've only been dealing with them for 2 years.
