I talked to a lower level employee who gave me 7500 points. I was told that was all they could do. I'm a long time Platinum member and I don't appreciate being ignored. Hola, Do you have a number I can call toll free from Panama so that I can make a PIC Plus deposit? Or a number to WhatsAp? I tried using the 800 USA number, but i am charged 25 cents per minute on my cell phone plan and was on hold for 10 minutes with no success in reaching a representative. We go to buy tickets to a few sites. Lady says, oh I can give you free tickets just go listen to pitch. We say no, she says oh no pressure it's fun just listen say no if you want no biggie. We fraudulently entered into this agreement when Wyndham sold us the timeshare in January 2020. We were under the impression that we were going to be able to use this timeshare to go to Hawaii and see all three islands, but when we returned home we realized your representatives lied to us and used that as a ploy to get us to purchase. We never had enough points to be able to travel to Hawaii. We have never been able to look over the contract that we signed due to Wyndham never sending us a copy of it, yet another lie we were told because we never received the USB that supposedly had a copy on it. At this point, there probably isnt a contract and they are just taking advantage of us and trying to conn us out of money as Wyndham did originally. Wyndham is not going to see another dime from us and we are not going to stand to be taken advantage of anymore. Wyndham needs to allow us to be released from this contract due to us never receiving legal paperwork regarding the contract. We are tired of dealing with this issue that the Wyndham people have scammed us into which is a huge web of lies! They need to be held accountable and we need to be released from the contract they supposedly have us bound to.

Unauthorized charge on credit card

I will never deal with a timeshare company again - no matter what company. Had poor experiences before and this one has put me over the edge.

I contacted Wyndham Rewards to check the balance/status of my Wyndham rewards. After speaking with the rep, she asked if I would like to be put through to a travel specialist and I agreed. It was their timeshare company. I spoke with that rep, she kept consulting her supervisor and offered me what sounded like a good deal. She asked for my credit card info, which I provided, then proceed with the 5 minute spiel which she told me not to interrupt or she would have to start again but to ask questions later. I did have many questions that she could not answer and after she consulted with her supervisor, I received info that there would be many hidden charges. I told her an emphatic no - I was not interested and I did not want to proceed. She tried to talk me out of it several times but I was a firm no and the conversation ended with her acknowledging this. The next day I checked my credit card statement and they charged my credit card! I was furious. I got a hold of the company and they did reverse the charges but this is not proper! I would like to warn others of the underhanded tactics of this company. Thank you, Linda Sarka

Killed my credit without saying a word

We were both told to use the tablet to sign in order to get our gifts. Come to find out we applied for a morgage and a credit card!!! These are 2 hard inquiries!! We have been waiting for our inquiries to fall off next month so we can refinance our house and now we are both screwed for another 2 year. I cannot believe this! On top of it. We were told we could pick any place as the second 2 day vacation. The margaritaville in pigion forge is not on the list and it is why we did this whole thing. Not to mention the lady said we could pick a 2 day or a 6 day for the same price. Had I known that part that was going to be points based I would have absolutely choose 6. Now I'm stuck with 1 night that cost all 30000 points when it was suppose to be 2 nights anywhere. We are so upset about hitting our credit like that without any conversation but to "check in" We are so screwed! Cherry on top. Noone said I had to do it again when I go in 2 weeks when I am only there for one full day. This is insane

Purchased the Wyndham discovery package just before covid and as you know travel was then restricted. Now I attempt to make reservations im told I only Purchased a 2 year trial period that has expired. 3900$ down the drain. They have no regards to the world being shut down. I know space is available because they only reserve half the rooms any given time.

I would not recommend buying a time share, and I will never buy another one(or more points).

I received a call from Lehi Tenorio, who said he was from corporate office. He said that since I was a Founder I qualified for a "new program" called Vacasa. He said that I could use my points to reserve places (other than Wyndham resorts). He said it would cost $89.00 more a month. After I agreed, he sent me a document to sign (400 page contract). What he did was sell me another contract and the cost is $400 more a month, plus maintenance fees. Of course when I called Wyndham, the people didn't know anything about Vacasa. So... tricked once again.

Not really caring about my concerns. The phone line has busy everytime I call and then it would disconnect (hang up) The 3rd party for Club wyndham booking kept telling us that they had no one bedroom available. We would have to pay for a 2 bedroom upgrade. Twice we booked 4-5 months in advance. Still no one bedroom available.

We have been trying to get WorldMark by Wyndham to work with us for some time. We dont expect they will ever admit their sales people lie and sell you on one thing, but the contract is completely different. What we do expect after more than 20 years of doing business with them is for someone to be ethical. We filed a complaint on the BBB and Melody Lopez-Jones, has said she cant find our contract, cant work around our schedule, etc. They can find our contract fast enough when they pull their outrageous fees!

We have been lied to by this company the whole time! During the sales scam, they told us we could travel to Ireland & Scotland using their packages-not true. We were told we could use our points to take cruises-not true. We were told lie after lie, and when we contacted the company to cancel our membership, the denied it. They lied to get us to sign a contract-that is obvious. There are stories identical to ours all over the BBB website and other internet sites. But their sales experience specialists deny it. This company is without ethics. They will steal from you by saying you are getting certain things by signing up, they KNOW the contract doesnt say any of those things. The person who gets you to sign holds a tablet and says sign here, sign there-no time to read it-you arent even allowed to know what it is you are signing!

I posted to the Better Business Bureau about Wyndham and their lying salespeople and Wyndham didnt even bother to respond or refute it! The salesperson told me this could be sold back to Wyndham! I was told I could contact a representative if I was not pleased with the package sold to me. Both of these are flat-out lies and the salesperson was well aware of it. I was told when I called that I would have to pay a fee to sell it and there was no guarantee that it would be sold. Then I ended up with an upgrade, that turned out to be a second contract. When I sent a notice in writing that I wanted to cancel the second contract I was told they didnt have to honor the letter because there was no contract number on it. They still have not given me a copy of this second contract they allege I signed. I dont even know how they are getting away with fraud like this!

Club Wyndham targets Military with Lies!
We were on a family vacation and were lured in by a booth at the airport saying they would give us show tickets for watching a presentation. The presentation turned out to be a timeshare sales pitch. Once the salesmen found out I was active duty he kept telling my wife how I could fail to return from deployment and vacations memories would be all my family was left with. When we contacted Wyndham regarding the lies from the salesman, the omission of pertinent information, etc. we were told they were right, and we were wrong. When we filed with the BBB Wyndham told us they were right, and we were wrong. A very unpleasant employee named LeAnn Mitchell just quoted the contract they have back at us, then said without proof that the salesperson lied they werent even going to address the problem anymore. We never received full disclosure, no one told us about maintenance fees or that they increase at Wyndhams discretion. I believe I was targeted by Wyndham because they knew as active duty, I couldnt stop payments. I believe they told lies about the places we would be able to go with our points to get us to sign. Wyndham has stolen this money from our family through lies and misrepresentation of what we were buying-they are an awful company.
